I want to win!

I hate when people post on their blog about give-aways.
But this is one I really REALLY want.....so that is what I am doing today.
Shabby Apple dresses are just my style....just not my budget.
So the chance to win 12 of them....oh my goodness!
Here's hoping!

Check it out here!

One year (and a week) later

So we have been here a year now.
(And about a week :)
So I thought it would be fun to take some before and after pictures.
I wish I would have taken MORE before pictures.
I think we have made a real dent in the place.
We are loving how things are turning out.
Still a long was to go.....but we are staying busy every day.
I think you can tell the before's from the after's.....
But the before's are first and the after's are after.

Those big trees are not looking good this year, but they will next.
We sprayed some weed killer where we did the rock road, and apparently they didn't do so good with the roots of those trees.
But we had a lady come and look at them and she said they will be fine....they just need to recover.

This field will soon be green.....

Those little trees will find a home soon...

And there is our awesome barn in the back.
Loving it all.
Can't wait to see what it looks like in another year :)

K....so I started this blog so we could document everything that we do to this place.
I have obviously not kept it up....

But I do plan to use this blog to update things that we do around the farm.
That way when I go private on the family blog....you can still see what we do here :)
Cause things are gonna loook very different after a few years!!!!!

My sister has a private blog, and she has a public blog that she uses to remind people when she has updated her blog.
So I thought I would use this blog for that purpose too.
So add our Fix-It-Up-Farm blog to your google readers if you want to keep up.

For our Grandkids

We wanted to start from the very beginnning and document all we do to this dream farm of ours!
That way, all our generations will be able to remember!
